Our Story

Our haunted house journey began in 2024 as Shop of Horror on Main Street, tucked inside the Fast Track HVAC building. What started as a small but spooky experience quickly gained momentum, fueled by community excitement and a shared love for all things scary. In 2025, we leveled up—moving to a larger space at the Stanwood Fairgrounds to bring you an even bigger, better, and more terrifying haunted adventure. 2026 will bring delights that are even more sinister.

Facing your Fears while Fueling our Future

Our inaugural community haunted house season in 2024 was a remarkable success and the beginning of something truly special. With the generous support of 10 local sponsors, who contributed a total of $2,000 in donations, and our title sponsor Fast Track HVAC, who provided the space in kind, we were able to bring an unforgettable experience to life.

Together, these efforts helped raise $8,700, directly benefiting Stanwood High School’s Trips Abroad program and allowing us to award scholarships to six deserving students. None of this would have been possible without the dedication of 31 incredible volunteers who gave their time and energy to make our very first season such a meaningful success.

Our second season in 2025 was a truly inspiring milestone, with revenue more than doubling thanks to the incredible support of our local community and enthusiastic guests. Together, we raised nearly $20,000, turning passion and creativity into real impact.

Net proceeds from our Twisted Tales haunt were proudly donated to The Dance Project NW and Stanwood High School’s Future Business Leaders of America, supporting the arts and helping empower future leaders. This success is a powerful reminder of what’s possible when a community comes together with a shared purpose—and we are deeply grateful to everyone who made it happen.

Motivated by the positive impact we can make in our community, we established our nonprofit organization to support and uplift local causes. Our board members and volunteers work tirelessly to ensure that our efforts create meaningful experiences while contributing to the well‑being of those we serve. Together, we are committed to making a lasting difference and reinforcing our dedication to giving back.
