Our Story

Our haunted house journey began in 2024 as Shop of Horror on Main Street, tucked inside the Fast Track HVAC building. What started as a small but spooky experience quickly gained momentum, fueled by community excitement and a shared love for all things scary. For 2025, we're leveling up—moving to a larger space at the Stanwood Fairgrounds to bring you an even bigger, better, and more terrifying haunted adventure.

Facing your Fears while Fueling our Future

Our 2024 inaugural season of the community haunted house event was a tremendous success! With the generous support of 10 local sponsors contributing $2,000 in donations, and our title sponsor Fast Track HVAC providing the space in kind, we were able to create an unforgettable experience for everyone involved. The event raised an impressive $8,700, which directly benefitted Stanwood High School's Trips Abroad program. This contribution allowed us to provide scholarships to 6 deserving students. We also had an incredible turnout, with 31 dedicated volunteers making it all possible.

Motivated by the positive impact on the community, we established our non-profit organization to support other local organizations. Each board member and volunteer has been working tirelessly to ensure that this year's Twisted Tales will not only be an unforgettable experience but also a significant contributor to the community's well-being. Together, we're committed to creating a memorable event that reinforces our dedication to giving back.
